As a family of four with 14 and 12 year old kids, we enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing week staying at Casse Noisette during February half-term week.

 

The chalet is extremely attractive and is located in a peaceful area higher up in the town. The free local bus stop is very close, with buses running frequently (and like clockwork in line with the published timetable), and so we had quick access to the slopes at Rond Pont (two minutes) and at Chaudanne (less than ten minutes), and also to the wider town and local restaurants in the evenings. The Sherpa mini-market and Skiset shop were also just a few minutes walk from the chalet - the former perfect for fresh daily bread and croissants, and the latter having a great range of rental equipment.

 

Inside the chalet felt brand new - it was absolutely spotless, beautifully appointed and bright and airy throughout. With accommodation laid out across four floors, it felt extremely spacious - with nearly all aspects more generously sized than many chalets we have stayed in before. We had two bedrooms on the first floor, both complete with large comfy beds, loads of separate walk-in storage space and stylish bathrooms (with these arrangements duplicated on the floor below) - oh, and the most amazing views from the balconies across and down the valley. On the top floor was the lovely open plan kitchen, dining and living area - which had a genuine home from home feel to it and was so relaxing that we ended up staying in for multiple nights, enjoying family movie nights on Netflix (on one night even cheating and ordering a delivery pizza from the local Italian located a few minutes down the mountain)! And on the basement level, our every skiing need was catered for with an excellent boot and ski room, plus the wonderful hot tub and sauna. We didn't drive but if we had then there was even an internal lift and fully secured underground parking (in addition to the spaces outside).

 

Finally, we were very well looked after during the booking process and then on arrival and on departure by Cedric, with all the practical arrangements running smoothly. We very much hope to return to Meribel, and to Casse Noisette if it is available next year!

We spent a fantastic week in Meribel over the New Year. With perfect snow conditions and luxurious chalet! Chalet Casse Noisette is modern and chic. With spacious and cosy bedrooms rooms which are all en suite. There is a glamorous open plan kitchen and lounge with plush, comfy sofas, tv, sonos etc. The general ambience is charming.

The hot tub and infra red cabin is a perfect end to the day skiing. Ideal for teasing out any aches and pains accumulated during the day.

 

The town of Meribel is bustling and picturesque. The night life is great fun with sully’s and jacks bar being great hubs. Lots of lovely ski shops and restaurants. Bakery, supermarket, ski hire all just a 2 minute walk from the chalet.

 

From the chalet the slopes are just a 5 minute bus ride - which is free i might add! Equally the slopes are within walking distance. The bus takes you straight to Rond Point and the slopes.

 

Skiing in Meribel and the 3 valleys is second to none. Indeed it is the worlds largest ski area! I had an amazing week in chalet Casse Noisette and would definitely recommend to all friends and family!!
